_wordmusic_ currently being created here at livingstonemusic.net is a system for playing written text as music. It has thrown up a fascinating twist, when it is considered how the creator of this Music would actually be the Author of the text itself. The Musician is merely acting in a role of a ’decoder’. He is simply applying a system - the text determines what the Music will be.

Exquisite Corpse is a method by which a collection of words or images are collectively assembled, the result being known as the "Exquisite Corpse". Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule (e.g. "The adjective noun adverb verb the adjective noun") or by being allowed to see the end of what the previous person contributed.
"Wall" is the first "Exquisite Corpse" to come from a series of Musical Workings being recorded during 2008.
The mixing of the second Exquisite Corpse piece titled 'Wewelsburg' will be ready by the end of April.

The next living:stone recording will be "belfastsongs".
It'll be a collection of songs about living and growing up as a member of the 'underclass' in Belfast and based entirely on personal experience.
Then there's a living:stone video currently being written... and a live session for the BBC being recorded... Livi and Howlette are about to begin working on some more new music... We shall see...
